Douglas County PUD Commissioners Jim Davis, Molly Simpson and Ron Skagen executed the following actions during the January 25, 2016 Commission meeting held at the District's East Wenatchee office:
Approved a call for bids under bid document 16-02-D, supply and deliver 115kV circuit switchers for the Veedol Substation which will be located near Battermann Industrial Park. (16-008)
Amended the Electric Distribution System Customer Service Policies. The amendments would update two sections of the Customer Service Polices to reflect the current business needs of the District.(16-009)
Revised Schedule 6 of the Electric Distribution System Customer Service Policies. This revision would change the IPTV programming rate to meet the changing business needs of the DCCN. (16-010)
Approved execution of Northwest Power Pool work order to develop documents to implement a frequency response sharing group. This would allow Balancing Authorities to pool their resources and achieve compliance with the new reliability standard as a group. (16-011)
Authorized a call for bids under bid document 15-27-W, 2016 heavy equipment services. The District periodically requires heavy equipment services to perform scheduled, unscheduled and emergency work at various locations of the Wells Hydroelectric Project. (16-012)
Approved acceptance of work and final payment to H2O Well Services, Inc. under contract 12-21-W, 2012-2013 hatchery well and pump maintenance. All work has been completed and determined to meet the contract specifications. (16-013)
Approved acceptance of work and final payment to Central Washington Asphalt under contract 15-05-W, resurface the access road at the Wells Hydroelectric Project. All work has been completed and determined to meet the contract specifications. (16-014)
Authorized the City of Brewster 2015-2016 Operations and Maintenance budget for parks. The District's portion is $65,069 and is required by the new Wells Project license. (16-015)
Approved the City of Pateros 2015-2016 Operations and Maintenance budget for parks. The District's portion is $65,069 and is required by the new Wells Project license. (16-016)
Approved a change in the District's travel reimbursement policy (Administrative Bulletin 5.13) to reflect changes in the Internal Revenue Service approved mileage rate for 2016. (16-017)
The next meeting of the Commission is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. February 8, 2016 at the District's East Wenatchee office.
