Douglas County PUD Commissioners Ron Skagen, Jim Davis and Molly Simpson executed the following actions during the November 9, 2015 Commission meeting held at the District's East Wenatchee office:

Awarded Administrative Assistant Jenny Scott with her twenty-five year service award. Commissioner Skagen thanked Jenny on behalf of the citizens of Douglas County for her years of service. Jenny thanked the Commission and said "It's been enjoyable. I feel lucky and am appreciative of the opportunity."
Authorized award of contract 15-23-D, supply and deliver two 115-13.2 kV, 42 MVA substation transformers to Virginia Transformer Corp. the lowest evaluated responsive bidder. (15-221)
Approved an interlocal agreement with Douglas County for aerial photography. The photography will include high resolution orthographic and oblique photographs for the entire county. (15-222)
Authorized a second extension agreement with the United States Bureau of Reclamation and the Greater Wenatchee Irrigation District for Transmission Service and Facility Maintenance until December 31, 2015 or a replacement agreement is in place. (15-223)
Approved a mutual release and stipulation between the District and Puget, Portland General Electric, Pacificorp and Avista in regards to the 1989 Settlement Agreement interpretation of Schedules 3 and 4. (15-224)
Affirmed change order No. 1 to contract 14-19-W, Wells Hatchery modernization. The changes include additional decking on the roof of the headtank building, additional chilled water capacity and changing the location of wells #17 and #18 following geotechnical investigation. The changes will increase the contract $34,018 for a new total not-to-exceed cost of $35,831,018. (15-225)
Approved a call for bids under bid document 15-24-W, Rehabilitate Unit 4 Trash Racks at the Wells Hydroelectric Project. Work would include cleaning and coating one set of fifteen (15) trash racks for installation in the intakes of Unit 4. (15-226)
Heard a report on the Douglas County Community Network. The network currently has 2,970 end users.
The next meeting of the Commission is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. November 23, 2015 at the District's Bridgeport office.
