Douglas County PUD Commissioners Ron Skagen, Jim Davis and Lynn Heminger executed the following actions during the April 9, 2012 Commission meeting held at the District’s East Wenatchee Headquarters office:
Approved addendum No. 1 to bid document 12-05-D, and deliver one small single-bucket truck. This addendum clarifies items in the bid document. (12-051)
Authorized professional service agreement with Construction Special Inspection under RFQ 12-03-D, material testing services. (12-052)
Approved a call for bids under bid document 12-09-D, design and build concrete communications building. The District is in need of additional communication floor space for the Douglas County Community Network (DCCN) to meet the growing demand for co-location facilities in Douglas County. (12-053)
Authorized legal proceedings against New Day Broadband, LLC for Pole Attachment License Agreement delinquent payments. (12-054)
Approved acceptance of second year work and final payment to Tunnel Hill Granite under contract 09-23-W, 2010-2011 heavy equipment services. All work has been completed and determined to meet bid specifications. (12-055)
Authorized agreement for professional services agreement with Anchor QEA, LLC for Aquatic Settlement Work Group Chairman. This three year agreement will not exceed $100,000. (12-056)
Approved a call for bids under bid document 12-10-W, Peninsula Park swim area improvements. These improvements are included in the 2007 Recreation Action Plan. (12-057)
The next meeting of the Commission is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. April 16, 2012 at the District’s Bridgeport office.
