Douglas County PUD Commissioners Jim Davis, Lynn Heminger and Ron Skagen executed the following actions during the April 13, 2009 Commission meeting held at the Bridgeport office:
Opened bids submitted for Bid Document 09-09-W, Headquarters Addition Replacement Boiler. The apparent low bidder is Peet Plumbing of Wenatchee with a bid of $26,180. The bids will be evaluated prior to an award recommendation.
Opened bids submitted for Bid Document 09-12-D, Supply 1250 EPR Underground Cable. The apparent low bidder is HD Supply Utilities of Portland, Oregon with a bid of $564,894. The bids will be evaluated prior to an award recommendation.
Authorized acceptance of materials for the Rapids Switchyard received from Electrical Power Products under Contract 08-49-D. The total cost of this control and relay panel equipment is $189,666 plus tax.
Authorized Change Order No. 1 to Contract 08-14-D with Asplundh Tree Experts for tree trimming. The change order adds $75,000 to the contract bringing the total authorized amount to $521,000.
Authorized an Interlocal Cooperative Agreement with Douglas County for improvements to North Baker Avenue from 23rd Street NE to 27th Street NE. The County’s contractor will install conduit and vaults as part of the road reconstruction. The District’s portion of the cost will be approximately $230,000.
Authorized a request for qualifications to search for an aquatic settlement workgroup chairperson. The District has entered into an aquatic settlement with the fishery agencies and tribes related to relicensing the Wells Hydroelectric Project. The settlement requires the District to hire a facilitator to act as the workgroup’s chairperson.
Signed Contract 09-04-D as previously authorized with Altec Industries, Inc. to supply and install a one-man bucket unit with service body.
