The following is a report of the Douglas County Public Utility District Commission meeting that was held on March 19, 2001.
The Commissioners opened bids to provide Douglas PUD with a Distribution System Dock Crew. Four bids were received for the work with bid prices ranging from $600,941 to $442,284. The lower bid was received from Wilson Construction of Oregon. All bids will be evaluated by staff before recommendation of award.
The location of two future Commission Meetings was changed. The April 9th meeting will be at 2:00 p.m. in the East Wenatchee Headquarters Building. The April 16th meeting will be at 1:30 p.m. in the Bridgeport office. These changes were necessary due to a conflict with the Commissioner’s schedules.
A Wenatchee Valley Chamber of Commerce event was also approved by the Commission. The “Business After Hours” event will be held Wednesday April 25th at 5:30 p.m. in the East Wenatchee Headquarters building. The event will showcase many projects that Douglas PUD administers.
