Douglas County PUD Commissioners Jim Davis, Lynn Heminger and Ron Skagen executed the following actions during the January 12, 2009 Commission meeting held at the Bridgeport office:
Authorized acceptance of materials received from Galvanizers Inc. working under 08-35-D, Rapids Switchyard tubular steel. All work under the contract has been completed and determined to meet the bid specifications. (09-06)
Approved acceptance of materials received from General Pacific working under contract 08-37-D, Rapids Switchyard 115 kV disconnect switches. All work under the contract has been completed and determined to meet the bid specifications. (09-07)
Approved an agreement for professional services with Natoma Technologies, Inc. The scope of services under this agreement includes modifications, enhancements and on-call support related to the Wells Hydroelectric Project Relicensing Document Management Tool at a cost not to exceed $20,000. This agreement will expire December 31, 2010. (09-08)
Opened bids under bid document 08-52-D, 144 count fiber optic transmission cable. The lowest apparent bid was received from Taihan Electric Wire Co. of Floral Park NY. The bids will be evaluated prior to a recommendation for contract award.
The next meeting of the Commission is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. January 19, 2009 at the District’s East Wenatchee Headquarters office.
